Being in contact with schools throughout USA, Worantex (Thailand) is proudly informing you, the students, of the possibility to be part of a learning experience abroad.

School placements are available for both short and long terms (either for one, two or three months, for one semester {5months}, a full year {10months} or long term placements {2-3years}). The program is offered to students between 12 and 18years of age. No prior knowledge of English is needed as these programs are developed to transform a non-speaker into a fluent speaker of English as a second language.

The “slep” test is to be conducted upon arrival in the host country in order for the student to be incorporated into the right ESL class.

The school year in USA starts twice a year: at the beginning of September or January. Summer programs are also available for students who would wish to go abroad right after their school year in Thailand to study English for a period of two-three months prior for the normal school year to start. Thai students are to be fully immersed and integrated into normal American classroom which are of usually only 25-30 students.

Where shall the placed Thai students live? American schools offer the possibility for their international students to stay with host families. Those families are carefully screened; criminal background being checked, house being inspected and the student being visited periodically once placed with his/her new family. There are also some schools that offer the possibility for their international students to stay together in a campus or residence within the school facility.
