This Internship position is for an IT Consulting Organization that provides end-to-end business and technology solutions to their clients in various areas of expertise.

Job description:

Orientation, Introduction to Advanced Concepts – 1 - 4 months

System design, architecture & development – 5 - 8 months

System maintenance & management – 9 - 12 months

Skills required:

- The trainee must have a minimum of 2 years of IT work experience, with a minimum of graduation degree in Science or Computer Applications,

- Experience in the some of the following technologies:

Microsoft Technologies (Visual Basic, .NET, SQL Server, ASP, COM/DCOM, IIS/MTS)

Sun Java Technologies (Java Core, Servlets, SWING, AWT, JSP, EJB)

OpenSource Technologies (PHP, RedHat Linux 6.x, 7.x)

Application Servers (Oracle 9i, TomCat, Weblogic)

Database Engines (Oracle 8i/9i, SQL Server 2000, DB/2, mySQL)

Applicant must have good English speaking, reading, writing skills. 

Paid Internship: $11.50 – $17.25 per hour depending on skill level + free housing

Training Length:  18 months
