Restaurant management & administation internship & practical training programs!

Qualified Trainees and interns must possess at least two years of post graduate studies in a related field + one year work experience (for trainees) in services, management or restauration.

The purpose is to train the individual by introducing young professionals seeking to pursue a career in Restaurant Management outside of the U.S. to American techniques and style.  Through their exposure to the operations of an American restaurant, the trainee will be able to enhance their perspective regarding the hospitality industry and enable them to use this training in their own country.  By the conclusion of training, the trainee will have become Serv Safe Certified, Shift Certified and will have learned skills including Customer Service, Business Communication, Time and Shift management, Restaurant Operations, and Equipment/Facilities Maintenance.

The trainee will have ongoing interaction and feedback from his/her supervisor and mentor.  In addition, formal written evaluations will be provided throughout the year.  

Wages: Starting wage is  $7.50/hour with progression to $9.00/hr based upon training progress.  Estimated average hours is 40 hours per week.  

Cost of Housing:  Local apartment complex within walking distance averages $100/week which can include the utilities, telephone, and the rent.  Security deposit and one month rent is due at the beginning.
