Remarks: Participants will be required to wear a uniform, which will be provided to them free of

charge. The participants will be required to provide specific shoes though, and will be informed of the

type of shoes they need upon arrival.

Pay Rate: Average of $9.00 / hour, it may vary based on location, position and experience.  Overtime is

not guaranteed and should not be expected.  Overtime pay is 1.5 the hourly rate for any hours worked

over 40 per week.

Work Hours: Participants will have a flexible schedule, and will usually work 6-7 hours per day, 5-6

days per week.

Start / End Dates: July - August 2009 onward start date /  12 months program.

Housing Cost: $87.50 to less per week depending on location. All the participants will be housed at one   

of the apartment communities in the area. Each apartment has a large kitchen, full living room,

spacious bathroom, and two to four bedrooms. Each room has separate beds, and two or three people

will share a bedroom.  Other recreational activities might be available for the participants. The bedding

and kitchen utensils will not be always provided for the apartments, and the participants will need to

bring them from home or be prepared to purchase them upon arrival. The participants will be required

to pay a security deposit of $550 one month prior to their arrival.  The security deposit will be

refunded at the end of the program if there are no damages or cleaning charges for the apartments.

After the participants start working, the housing cost will be deducted from the paycheck, starting with

the first paycheck.  Should a payroll deduction for the housing not be able to be set-up, the participants

will be required to pay for the housing individually, starting with the first week after the arrival.  The

rent will be paid one month in advance, and any payment in excess of the charges will be refunded to

the participants at the end of the program. Participants will need to find and provide their own

transportation to and from work.

Schedule: Participants will be working different shifts. Many shifts will be approximately 8 hours.

Early starting times will be about 7:00 am and later shifts may end around midnight.  Shifts and

schedules generally will change during the course of the program.
